BIPOC Scholarships
Does Ergos offer scholarships for BIPOC students?
Yes, in 2018, the Ergos Institute implemented a partial-scholarship program for BIPOC community members. The registration pages for Ergos sponsored courses will have information on how to apply. Currently, scholarships are provided by Ergos. Donations are always appreciated. Please contact us if you’d like to host part of a student’s educational and healing journey.
Community Outreach
Is Dr. Levine involved in community outreach?
Yes, with the assistance of donations and sliding-scale fees and the generosity of Dr. Levine, the Ergos Institute sponsors a Community Health SE™ Program serving communities and organizations in need.
Prerequisites
Do I need to take the SE 8-module training at SEI to attend a Master Class, Case Consultation, or Public class?
Public courses do not have prerequisites. SE Master Classes have prerequisites that range from completing SE Beginning I to completing the final module of SE Advanced II. SE Case Consultations are open to SE students who have completed SE Beg I. Each class will list its prerequisite.
SE™ Professional Training
Can I sign up for the SE 8-module training here on the Ergos website?
No, the Beginning I - Advanced II SE training courses that provide the SE Certificate are available through Somatic Experiencing International (SEI).
SE Master Classes, community outreach, and public programming are managed by Ergos.
Dr. Levine Appointments
Does Dr. Levine still see private clients?
Unfortunately, no, his private practice is closed. Dr. Levine is focusing his time on writing a new book & teaching SE Master Classes and public programming so he can help people on a much broader scale. He has striven for decades to train as many SE Practitioners as possible to do this great work. To find a SE Practitioner please click here.
Online & Sliding-Scale SEPs
Do SE Practitioners practice online or offer sliding-scale services?
Yes, many do, and in the age of Covid-19, most do. The SE Practitioner (SEP) database provides a customized search engine to help you find a practitioner or a practitioner in training that meets your needs, including the ability to search for a sliding-scale practitioner.
Not all who are trained in SE are in the database. If you don’t find one near you, you can search online using keywords: SEP, SE Practitioner, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
Program Requests
Does Dr. Levine accept requests to do in-person and online public programs?
Dr. Levine’s calendar is booked a year in advance. Your submission will be automatically put on our waitlist for potential review. To be on a program waitlist, please contact us. We’d be happy to help you set something up in the future.
Until then, we have a lovely SE Ergos Faculty that can fulfill your program needs when Dr. Levine cannot. We do not want SE to miss out! It is such important work to share with the world, and Legacy presents it beautifully with much praise.
